A lushly presented collection of folk tales from around the world, many of them unfamiliar to this reviewer. Each story is accompanied by a teaching kit of related activities, which include toys, games and instruments to make, recipes, art projects, science investigations and book-making. The result is a little overcrowded and difficult to negotiate, but this is a handy resource for storytime and general browsing.
