A rather slight and, ultimately, unsatisfying book about a little girl whose Dad doesn't finish her bedtime story. She protests, falls asleep and dreams that she's asking a variety of animals to read to her. They all offer to take her on different adventures. Eventually she falls out of bed, Dad tucks her up and offers to finish her book but she's now fast asleep. This story doesn't seem finished either, somehow . . .
