The Littlest Pirate and the Hammerheads.jpg

When Captain Hammerhead poisons the party guests and makes off with the family treasure it’s left to Nicholas Nosh – the littlest pirate in the world – to save the day. With the help of Gretta the cook and six poorly pirates, Nicholas sets sail in the Golden Pudding to find the missing treasure.

This humorous story is a Happy Cat ‘First Readers’ publication. The young pirate’s action-packed adventures certainly make this an exciting and enjoyable read. The narrative moves along at a fast pace with a generous sprinkle of comedy thrown in. This, combined with the book’s large, well-spaced typeface, manageable chapters and delightful black and white illustrations, makes it a perfect choice for young readers.
